Animated Pictures

Post by boatbuilder » Tue Feb 17, 2015 4:39 pm

Earlier today I tried producing a 'GIF' image which I posted HERE in the Gardeners Patch board, although that one was intended more as a brief slide show as it was slowed down.

Since then I thought it might be an idea to start a separate topic for GIF animations so had a go at a slightly different one. This is made up of six images of my grand daughter eating an ice cream which were taken in 'burst mode' with my Canon SLR. Unfortunately there were originally 12 images in the GIF but the file size of the one they produced was too large to post on here so I had to halve it. The pictures were taken in 2010.

Now what's confusing? Only multiple still images played one after the other in a loop. :D

I did the first one 'online' on a website then subsequently found a great piece of software to download so I could do them on the computer. If anyone's interested I'll send them the link to the software.
