Thanks SB and kerch.

Just to answer some of your queries (to the best of my knowledge) SB.

There are three different steam train rides there now and we went on two of them. I know Alan Bloom died what seemed to be just a few years ago but having checked Wikipedia it was some 10 years ago (31 March 2005) - how time flies when you're getting old. I had seen him there myself in the gardens on a previous visit sometime in the 1990's I would think.

I'm not sure who is actually responsible for the gardens these days but when I booked the tickets online yesterday morning it was with 'Merlin' who own Alton Towers and other such places. We didn't have time to go in the garden centre but I believe you are right about it being Wyevale who run that as I seem to recall from a previous visit when we just went to the garden centre. Didn't have time to go to Foggy Bottom either. It's quite hard work with a wheelchair on the grass with the slopes, etc., and that was becoming 'a bridge too far' for me in the temperature there yesterday - it was a lot hotter than here in Lowestoft.

I will post a few videos later this evening which I also took and which I am uploading to my Youtube. Some were taken on one of the train rides and one of them is almost 7 minutes in length although the others are somewhat shorter. They are all in HD.

That's OK Mel. In which case, perhaps a small donation towards my entrance fee for yesterday wouldn't go amiss. :D

I enjoyed your videos BB,also the many other links which I found leading to one showing Allan Bloom himself driving the train.

Just read the last two postings and I'm on me bike. :bike:

Thanks, SB. Seems I'd be wasting my time then making a similar request.
