2015 Photos by the month

Post by Suffolkboy » Sun Dec 13, 2015 9:12 pm

We have twelve days to Christmas - each day representing a month, it is about this time I look at the photos I have taken during the year month by month and wondered if we could compile an ML photo record of 2015 month by month by each of us posting just three photos taken each month.
I will start it off with my memories of January.

Here are three January ones from the very few I took during that month - these were on the 20th. A stark contrast to your snowy ones, SB.

I file mine by date so is not a problem to find them Mel. Trouble is, when I want something specific and I can't be sure when it was taken I then have to go searching. I'm not sure which is the lesser of the two evils.

Anyway, here are my February ones, all taken locally:

February.

The days and nights begin to lengthen and thoughts turn to the Snowdrop and Crocus. It seems my camera did not travel much beyond our garden this month.

A rather early rose Mel, but no doubt 'got to' by a frost.

March

The month of the Daffodil. The month when the woods we walk begin to reveal its hidden gold with great swathes of Daffodils and Narcissus. The woods where it seems that only Abbey and myself witness this wonderful spectacular floral scene.
The month of our Anniversary when I must not forget the Anniversary card.

m1ml Us Daily Mail readers are a hardy bunch, this lady was reading her paper along the seafront on a not to warm March morning.

m2ml Caught this muntjac deliberating whether to cross the railway lines or not, it soon disappeared back into the woodland when it realised I was there.

m3ml As you said Suffolkboy the month of the daffodil...I have heard the saying 'pushing up daisies' but it looks like someone is 'pushing up daffs' :)

Mel,I see the Daff's are even pushing through and out of the flower pot. :D

I am already beginning to realize where my main interests lie when I take photos, never thought about it before. Seems I am obsessed with flowers, birds,Abbey and holiday photos, beginning to think I am a little tunnel visioned and need to take a leaf out of George Plunkett's book. So looks like I may meet you treading the grave yards. :) when I shall be looking for some architectural inspirational photos. or even capture some people in action.

Your photos give me a feeling that Spring is not to far away. Or is it?
Mind you it makes you think when people are posting photos of Daffodils blooming during December.
