April for me was watching the birds at North Cove, enjoying the beach at Pakefield and spotting cross country runners on Carlton Marshes.

Re: 2015 Photos by the month
Lovely photos and memories Mel. I shall add your Blue Tit photo to my art file for painting some time if that is OK with you. Just returned from a walk in the woods with Abbey who alerted me to five Roe deer within a few paces of us,if she hadn't I am sure I would have just walked past them without knowing they were watching us.The added bonus this morning was to see Basil brush slinking off into the bracken with his brush out in a straight line.
Would add the Pakefield photo brings back so many memories as the photo location was my playground as a youngster although it has vastly changed. When I visit Pakefield and take a walk along the cliff I always stop to read the plaques on the seats of which many of the names bring back memories of people who I knew at one time or another. Pakefield as I knew it - was a great place to grow up.

Quite envious of you at the moment Suffolkboy of your walks in the woods with Abbey as I am having a bit of trouble with my back and not very mobile at the moment, certainly missing my regular visits to the marshes and woods. Photos certainly do bring back memories, some good some bad but that is what life is all about, taking the rough with the smooth.Suffolkboy wrote: Just returned from a walk in the woods with Abbey who alerted me to five Roe deer within a few paces of us,if she hadn't I am sure I would have just walked past them without knowing they were watching us.The added bonus this morning was to see Basil brush slinking off into the bracken with his brush out in a straight line.

Re: 2015 Photos by the month
Sorry to hear you are having problems getting about Mel,hope you are soon feeling better and able to take more photos of the Suffolk scenes. Yes it is good to walk and that is why we acquired our Abbey,to me her walks mean exercise otherwise I would just sit about and get fatter than I am now - that's what SWMBO tells me.
If you are unable to go out why not explore the webcams,I often take a look at the one sited at the Wherry Oulton Broad, mind you I am looking to see if I can spot certain ML photographers who frequent that area.
A webcam visit to Wroxham or Cromer can lift ones spirits or even good old Adnams country - Southwold - the worlds your oyster with this old technology thingy.

Re: 2015 Photos by the month
I must get out more with my camera in the coming year rather than concentrating on garden photos. The Aubretia makes a wonderful April splash of colour and like you BB we have borders of Aubretia of various colours and so easy to split up and root. They require some maintenance like cutting back hard after flowering and feeding with some fertilizer otherwise easy to maintain.

In May we visited our younger daughter and family in Lancashire and these are three from that visit on our day out to Hollingworth Lake.

May saw me in Southwold watching a man fixing his windows, passing the newsagent shop in Kirkley and spotting a shield bug on Carlton Marshes.

Good to see what each other focus on when selecting a subject to photo and it seems we have already a great variety of subjects and interests.

That Wasp beetle looks an evil critter and one to avoid. Also like the muddy creek, would make an excellent canvas to hang on the wall.

Looks like June was the month of the bugs.
Budgies enjoying the sun, a rose and a bug.
