Must admit I was tempted to post photos of roses. I do wonder if my climbing rose is the same species as yours BB as we have one seems identical. Like the bug photo, wondering what sort? I have never been into bugs preferring to avoid them if I can. Long time since we had Budgies so nice to see them. Can they talk?

I can't recall which rose that is SB. It's not a climbing one though. The bug is the Red Lily Beetle, I posted a macros of that one in June. No the budgies don't talk - well they do, their own language. I'm not sure they will talk with having two of them.

Perhaps the Budgies are imigrants. When we go shopping I sometimes wonder if I have been whisked away as many of the shoppers around us are jabbering a language I do not understand. :? :D

July

A month when school holidays begin,a time when we can drive past schools without considering the time,ie,the school runs - well that is for six weeks or so. Summer is here and the exhibitions are in full swing and so it is time to see what folk get upto in their spare time. A time to mix with those of our own age as it seems the younger generation are absent from such events.

Someone has been busy with the knitting needles Suffolkboy.

July saw me in Ipswich. I wasn't to impressed with the statue but I liked the hanging baskets at the pub. Cant' remember where I took the picture of the racing pigeon think it was Walberswick, he was having a rest under a hedgerow.

My July pictures are a couple from the garden - Honeysuckle in full flower and a bee - and one I don't remember where, but probably local.

Mel,I thought the the statue would have made a good candidate for "what is it?" I wondered if it was a bird then thought a bird seemed to be rowing the bird - Oh well I remain confused :? I do like your input as it seems you travel about quite a lot resulting in me learning about things I never knew existed in Suffolk. eg, the statue at Ipswich of one of my favourite characters from Giles cartoon book. The Granny. :D

SB, maybe Mel should change his username to 'Gulliver' - linked to the travel one, not the Lowestoft wind turbine.

At the moment Boatbuilder I am more like the Lowestoft wind turbine 'static and not much good for anything'...hopefully I will be able to start getting out and about again in the New Year sometime

I saw this gent in Norwich in August, I believe he was with a pest control firm, moving pigeons on. Then it was Wymondham with the unusual building for a tourist information office; and then it was the big fight between the champion Airey 'spider' Legge and the Russian contender Red 'army' Beetle 8-)

August saw me taking another trip up north to bring my granddaughter down for a couple of weeks. The first picture was on that journey taken at the top of the Woodhead Pass over the Pennines. The second is a local sunset and the third on a locomotive at Bressingham.
