It is the wind should be dropping this evening but will believe it when I see it . Pity i can't get down to the sea should be a good place to take photo's this afternoon .

I've been trying to get a few walks in along our local canal - the Lancaster Canal which runs about 100m away from my house. I usually drive abut three miles upstream to get some better scenery though. Here are a few pictures...

It's very pretty and hardly a soul around in the evenings. One is free to take a leak wherever one pleases which is a Godsend at my age ;-)

That canal bridge is very much like a bridge over the canal du midi not far from me .

I know what you mean Frankie,any port in a storm. Like the photos especially the canal which looks great for casting a baited hook into.
