Canal this afternoon,rained all morning and 10 minutes after I took this photo it was raining again.

This waterway is a bit closer to you, frankie. The Leeds-Liverpool Canal at Parbold, Lancashire (August 2011)

I've not seen that part of the canal, in fact I've not seen much of it at all but I have taken a couple of prospects for lunch at a pub by that canal near Blackburn.
It's grim up North...

It's a looooonnnnnng canal frankie, I doubt most people have seen it all unless they have travelled its length on a boat. :D I've walked along those stretches many times as my wife lived in the village before we were married.

Yes I was lucky with the composition Boatbuilder, to the left was a roadway and to the right were some diving rafts on the lake; it was an early morning shot and there was only me and the fisherman about.

Pedestrian Bridge over the River Ness at Inverness. Came across this picture I took with my Nikon Coolpix a few years ago, still got the camera somewhere will have to use it more, a lovely little camera. The batteries are probably seized up inside of it, will have to find it out and see.
