My maternal Grandfather with his sister just before going to war in the 1914-18 conflict. Luckily for me he returned to raise a family. Sadly my paternal Grandfather perished in that conflict my father being just a baby.

Sparrows nest theatre watched many a show there and performed on the stage with a dancing school The smaller flat roofed building to the right was a bar
