Just booked Booster jab, for Christmas Eve. Figured better to book now, after Boris announcement. It only took 30 minutes waiting in an online queue, with the website constantly crashing. Started off as number 21,000 in the queue, so I suppose everyone else has had similar ideas. Trying to decide with myself whether we will go into lockdown - again - before or after Christmas...The most recent Covid-19 statistics available for East Suffolk to April 17th 2024 are here - eastsuffolkcovid19.uk

Re: COVID-19 in East Suffolk
For the past few days I have been busy re-vamping the East Suffolk Covid-19 website that I started almost two years ago and which is accessible from the link at the top of each page on here, and I have today gone 'LIVE' with it. This revised version is also compatible with mobile devices such as tablets and mobile phones, whereas the previous version wasn't. It is now also accessible with a '.com' suffix as well as the original '.uk' one.
It is my intention to continue updating it as long as they (gov.uk) continue to publish the relevant statistics that I use as it gives me something to do. However, as they have reduced the frquency of publishing them to once a week, rather than daily, since last summer, I don't know for how long that will be. As it takes me no more than about 90 minutes to do, including all the advanced prep work each week, it's not a huge task and is something I quite enjoy doing.
