With climate change having dominated the news for many years and seemingly becoming more urgent now, I thought it would be useful to start this topic and what better way than with two interactive charts the BBC has published in an article today, which project how 40 countries 'emissions' and 'fair share contributions' compare?
I have embedded the charts below where the projections for each of the countries can be viewed using the dropdowns in each chart.
It's interesting to note that Sweden, the home country of one of the recent most outspoken climate activists, Greta Thunburg, isn't listed.
