It's been taken from the same angle, boatbuilder, I wonder if it's the same photographer.boatbuilder wrote: ↑Sun May 10, 2020 12:38 pmHere is the same church (lower picture) in July 2019 - courtesy of Google.

Well, I certainly never took the first one Dave. I suppose you could say I 'edited' the second one - and this one taken from the other direction, from alongside the bus station.

Two more photos and information from Russell Walker/Facebook.
1/ Mariners Score, Lowestoft looking down to Whapload Road and North Beach. The school can be seen above the lady's hat. 1930s at a guess.
2/ Lowestoft Outer Harbour during the Regatta perhaps. Pre-WWI.

Re: Lowestoft and Surrounding Area.
The High Lighthouse features twice this time, both photos and information curtesy of Russell Walker/Facebook.
1/ A boy smiles for the camera as an LCT Tramcar heads south passed the High Lighthouse in the High Street, Lowestoft. To the extreme left out of shot is the Convalescent Home (now Abigail Court) and to the right where the people are walking is Lighthouse Score. 1913 or just before.
2/ The High Lighthouse, High Street, Lowestoft including LCT tramlines, entrance to Sparrow's Nest, Lighthouse Score and The Great War Tank which was scrapped in 1937. Picture is 1920s.
