Latest post of the previous page:

Thanks to Russell Walker/Facebook for the first image.
'A busy Trawl Dock at Lowestoft Harbour including 'Ivy' (1898) [LT160], 'Qui Vive' (1896) [LT702], 'Diamond Cross' (1904) [R111], 'Waverley' (1906), 'Mizpah' (1880) [LT214], and 'Children's Friend' (1900) [LT174] (source: RMG). Also, of note is the gable end of the Fisherman's Shelter building in Waveney Road which has clearly changed a lot since and no Columbus Buildings yet. Photo is c.1908.'
'Scotch lassies gutting the herring at Lowestoft Suffolk c1910' comes from eBay.

Russell Walker provides the first photo along with the information. 'End of the road for Swonnell's Maltings, Caldecott Road, Oulton Broad as current owners, Messrs. R.W.Paul (Maltsters) Ltd, announce the permanent closure on 29th March 1968 in the media. This photo was taken at that time. The Maltings were built in 1900-1902.' Next, from eBay, comes 'Boxing the fish-Lowestoft-1962'.

''Steam Drifters, Lowestoft' (Herring Fishing Fleet), posted 1935' is an eBay postcard. Russell Walker follows up with 'Platers working at Richards Shipbuilders Ltd, Horn Hill, Lowestoft in February 1963. Richards closed in 1994 and Asda now occupies the site of the former shipyard'.

'Herring harvest at Lowestoft Scotch fisher girls gutting and packing the fish on the quay side Lowestoft. 6 November 1920' comes from 'europeana collections'. Next is an eBay postcard with ' Fishing industry 1912' as the only information.

Two more from Russell Walker and both mention Craskes, coal suppliers.

1/ Who remembers Craskes supplying coal from Denmark Road? Now the British Rail Coal Concentration Depot, Denmark Road (near Rotterdam Road), Lowestoft. Photo was taken on 22nd February 1968.

2/ Steam Fishing Drifter LT403 'Comrades' at Waveney Dock, Lowestoft. I think that's a Craskes Coal Barge behind left. Photo was taken on Tuesday 13th November 1951. 1928 steel drifter / Trawler built by Cochrane of Selby with a 50hp Burrell T3-cyl steam engine, WW2 admiralty service as a armed contraband control vessel, converted to motor in 1955, 1967 sold to Penzance and used as a unauthorised diving platform on the tanker Torrey Canyon, scrapped 1971.

I thought I had found Len Goodman, the chap in the hat and white coat at the front. I couldn't see the [/spoil] symbols at the top, are they hiding?

I saw and read the 'Spoiler', I just couldn't see the [/spoil] icon when I went to the quote page. Having downloaded all the winning photos for the video I've got no further, I will make a start over the weekend.
