Re: Lowestoft Industry.
The first image comes from Robert Whybrow's collection. 'Gisleham brickworks (is it still standing?)'
The second photo is of the construction of Kessingland Battery and is supplied by Russell Walker. 'Kessingland Battery under construction on Friday 8th August 1941. The 'gun houses' being built were designed to look like holiday camp buildings and used to camouflage coastal gun batteries. Note the camouflaging net to conceal from the air that construction was ongoing. (Anyone know the exact location on Kessingland Cliffs of the battery please?).'

Re: Lowestoft Industry.
It depends where you dropped it, Dave. Was it an AA or AAA? Or maybe it was this old Ever Ready U2 one?
Sorry about that, just something to try and keep everyone smiling

One of these, boatbuilder, if it can do that for a rabbit I need to find it. I'm not sure where I'd insert it though.boatbuilder wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 12:40 pmIt depends where you dropped it, Dave. Was it an AA or AAA?
