The Royal Norfolk and Suffolk Yacht Club's regatta was a gala occasion this year, for in addition to the Dragon class racing for the Duke of Edinburgh's Cup, the Duke himself presented the prizes.

Some scenes of Lowestoft from the 1920s, including the sea front, the pier entrance, holiday makers, fishing boats and the catch being landed. This is filmed from the original 9.5mm projection which for interest was a notched film. Music by bensounds.com.
