Car Park Madness

Post by AyB » Sun Oct 18, 2015 5:16 pm

I read with dismay and disbelief that car park charges "could" once again go up,

http://www.lowestoftjournal.co.uk/news/ ... _1_4273695

What is it with WDC. Are they blind? Do they not look around at the state of Lowestoft. Do they not see that North Quay complex and the ASDA complex are very busy when compared to the town centre? Do they not realize that free parking has a lot to do with this.?

By increasing car park charges again yet more people will resist the "temptation" of Lowestoft shopping and yet more business and shops will be lost.

Come on WDC. Wake up and look around you.

If you can afford to run and use a car, then by comparison the car park charges are tiny.
I don't know why people always moan, it's a couple of quid.
I went into a shop and said, "Can someone sell me a kettle." The bloke said "Kenwood" I said, "Where is he?"
