Latest post of the previous page:

Would be a bit difficult to carry a TV or some other large item on a bike.

Then again it would also be the same by bus or on foot. Only suitable for smallish items.

Our Homebase Argos has already been removed leaving an empty space. I don't know if you have noticed this in your Homebase but ours up here in Morecambe has gone distinctly downmarket. Only half the lights on and lots of products on pallets in the aisles, etc. It's getting to look more like Wickes now. Even the upstairs kitchen and bathroom showroom is looking cheap and tatty. I don't mind cheap obviously :-)

Ours looked OK last time I was in Homebase, but that was several weeks back now so things will no doubt have changed this past week.

Isn't Homebase being taken over by Bunnies an Aussie firm perhaps it's just looking untidy in the change over Frankie

That's right FC, except it's 'Bunnings' - nothing to do with Easter and rabbits,

That's the trouble with predictive text/auto correction on phones and tablets.

1. The Magdalen Arms public house in Great Yarmouth - closed for many years - has reopened as The Vetinary Practice.

2. The old Lowestoft Service Centre unit in Bevan Street has reopened as Complete Bathrooms.

Looks like the old 'Aphrodite' along the seafront is to be renamed 'Michaels' after its refurbishment...
