The kittiwakes are finding plenty of places to nest and rear their young in Lowestoft. These birds are on Lowestoft Music's shop in Grove Road.

Re: Lowestoft
I remember when they nested on the south pier & wondered where they had moved to when their home was knocked down.

Re: Lowestoft
They are on a few buildings along Waveney Road, on the Catholic church in Gordon Road and on the Claremont Pier Kerch. There are also some nesting on Station Square but some of the properties there put up nets to keep them away but sadly the birds are getting caught up in the netting.

Re: Lowestoft
A shot I took this afternoon of the tower on Star of the Sea Church in Gordon Road. It was taken from about half-a-mile away on the quay near Asda. It was only when I looked at the image on the computer later that I noticed all the gulls perched around the tower.

Gulliver was motionless this afternoon, but then that's nothing new.

And a few more, including an unusually quiet skate-park.
