Looking at the wing with the tread bars and the handle of the door as well as the back 1/4 of the cab I would guess the truck to be a commer RX7 (or variant)

I've no idea about that - if you want confirmation you'll have to write to the Borough of Crosby - or rather Sefton Council, as it's now called, but I doubt they will still have the records.
