Re: Birds And Animals
How very strange . . . you should post a photo of a Gull's rear end! And, I think you'll find it's the Very Rare Ruby-red rear-ended Gull! Apparently there's very few in existence - and they all live in this vicinity. Perhaps we've photographed the very same rare Ruby-rear-ended Gull! And it was actually smiling on us after all!boatbuilder wrote: Maybe THIS is your best side, Mr C Gull. (The one that almost got away. An image I was going to bin)

It heard me before I saw it ,if it had stayed put and not bolted I would n't have seen it at all.It was in a patch of dead weeds and grass the same colours as it's fur .It was n't to know that the only thing I was going to shot it with was my camera.

Re: Birds And Animals
I think it's too close to call. Here are two images - one of each supposedly - so I remain undecided - although I have a leaning towards the rabbit which I think tends to be plumper. I have only posted the links as I don't want to upset Mr. Getty where the first one is concerned.

Was experimentating! with the multi-shot facility (or whatever it's called) - took over 100 shots! As the light was beginning to fade - the 1/300 - ISO 100 wasn't fast enough but - here's a couple of them - sharpened up!
