Re: Skies
Mel and kerch – thank you for the comments.
Kerch – I had been “up and about since 3:30am” – but glad I wasn’t still under the duvet otherwise I would have missed that sky. Love your clouds – we mainly get the standard ones!
Mel: I happened to see that the breaks in the dark clouds were showing a red glow. So, I knew that I had time before, hopefully, a good, colourful sky developed. Fortunately, I guessed correctly!
Photo details: 1/80th - f/3.6, ISO 250.

Re: Skies
Sky was reasonably colourful this morning – but nothing special as very little cloud. But, took a few snaps – including a northerly-flying aircraft with contrail (not very good photo!). However, I then noticed further to the left, a rather unusual-looking contrail (if that’s what it was). It was flying, seemingly, towards the horizon.
Took a few photos – I have only lightened them slightly, on my photo software, by 10 – which I use to bring a bit more “oomph” to photos.
Seems a bit different to the usual “contrail” – perhaps it’s a UFO - or, maybe “ET Returns”!
